An experienced energy investment professional, Steven leads the business development efforts of Frontier Carbons Solutions. Steven has spent more than 13 years focused on public and private investment strategies. Prior to co-founding Frontier, Steven most recently served as a VP at Riverstone Credit Partners, a $2B AUM diversified energy credit strategy, and the credit and capital markets affiliate of Riverstone Holdings, a $39B energy-focused alternative asset manager. He was the fifth employee at RCP where he was responsible for originating, underwriting, and executing direct credit and equity investments in energy and power companies. He led the liquid secondary trading strategy for RCP where he helped identify, structure, and execute trades across term debt, bonds, equity, and revolvers. Prior to RCP, he focused on direct lending in the energy and infrastructure space via secured and mezzanine loans at PennantPark Investment Advisors, a $2B asset manager. Steven began his career as an investment banking analyst at Nomura Securities, specializing in natural resources leveraged finance. He holds a B.A. from Columbia University.
